What We Collect

Asbestos Register UK is a directory of HSE-licensed asbestos contractors. The business information displayed (company name, address, phone number, licence details) is sourced from the publicly available CONIAC register maintained by the Health & Safety Executive. This is public data published by a government body.

Quote Requests and Sharing Your Details

When you submit a quote request through our forms, we collect the details you provide — such as your name, phone number, email address, postcode, and a description of the work — so we can connect you with asbestos professionals who can help.

We pass your enquiry to one or more vetted, HSE-licensed asbestos contractors so they can contact you directly with a quote. By submitting the form you consent to your details being shared with these contractors for that purpose. We do not sell your details for unrelated marketing, and we only share what is needed to arrange your quote.

Our lawful basis for this is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by contacting us. We keep quote-request data only as long as needed to provide and improve the service, then delete it.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Vercel Web Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. GA4 uses cookies to distinguish users and may collect data such as pages visited, clicks on links, search queries, and scroll depth. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Vercel Web Analytics collects anonymised usage data without cookies.

We also use Microsoft Clarity to capture anonymised usage data through behavioural metrics, heatmaps, and session recordings, which help us improve the site. Clarity masks text and form-input content by default, so we do not see what you type. This data is processed by Microsoft as described in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), you have the right to:
