Envirocall Limited holds an HSE Standard Licence, which authorises the full range of licensable asbestos work. This includes removal of sprayed asbestos coatings, pipe lagging, loose-fill insulation, and asbestos insulating board — the highest-risk asbestos materials found in UK buildings. Standard licence holders must demonstrate that their workers are fully trained, medically assessed, and equipped with appropriate respiratory protective equipment (RPE).

Before any licensable work begins, the contractor is required to notify the HSE at least 14 days in advance and prepare a detailed plan of work. The work area must be fully enclosed and placed under negative air pressure using HEPA-filtered extraction units. After removal, an independent UKAS-accredited laboratory conducts air monitoring to confirm fibre levels are safe before the area is cleared for reoccupation.
